I created this piece while thinking about some of the staples of rural America, as well as the history of Wolcott. One fascinating piece of Wolcott history has to do with Bobbie the Wonder Dog, depicted on the far right, definitely worth looking up the story 🐶 I also kept thinking of date nights, drive in theaters, adventures, youth and education, weather, and a certain timelessness. Coincidentally my phone kept switching back and forth from Eastern to Central time, which really kept the timeless vibes going. There was a lot to pack into this piece, but dang if I didn’t have enough space to make it happen. Massive thanks to @tetia1177 for bringing me onto this project, @nmsalgar for keeping me motivated by working alongside me with her own huge mural, and @katie__batten @cathyelsinger for driving down from Illinois and Milwaukee to keep me company ❤️ And @kelley_satoski with the amazing 📸 she took throughout the process, thank you!!
